What is the difference between Design Your Own and Personalize An Existing Design?

Personalize An Existing Design allows you to select one of our existing designs and add your personal touch by modifying the text. With Design Your Own, you can upload your original design for a completely unique scarf.

Can I choose another material for my scarf?

While we have a selection of five fantastic standard sizes, we understand that sometimes you might want something a little different. For bespoke dimensions that perfectly suit your vision, don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’d be more than happy to help create a scarf that’s truly unique to you.

Can I add my own fonts to a design?

While our online customization tool offers a variety of fonts to choose from, if you have a specific font you’d like to use, please contact us. If you can share the font files with us, we’ll do our utmost to accommodate your request and incorporate your custom font into your design.

Are there any guidelines for the design file I upload for Print Your Own?

Yes, your design file should be in TIFF, PDF, JPEG, or PSD format with a resolution of at least 300 DPI. Please make sure your design fits the size of the scarf you’ve chosen, and leave a margin of at least 1.5 cm for the hand-rolled hem.

What materials are your scarves made from?

Our scarves are made from 100% premium silk and we also offer blends of silk with cotton, wool, and cashmere. If you have a specific fabric preference that isn’t listed, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. We’re always willing to explore new possibilities to meet our customers’ unique needs.

What is the difference between the various fabric types you offer?

What information goes on the scarf?

Your scarf is a canvas for your creativity, allowing you to feature any design or message you can imagine. In addition to your design, each scarf includes a discreet By Biehle label, a “Made in Italy” tag, and a fabric composition label (e.g., “100% silk”). These labels are subtly attached to ensure the focus remains on your unique design while signifying the high-quality craftsmanship of By Biehle and Made in Italy products.

Can I get a sample before placing a large order?

Yes, we offer the option to order a sample scarf. This allows you to check the quality of the print and fabric before making a larger order.

What’s the average production time for my custom scarf?

For “Print Your Own” and “Personalize an Existing Design” orders, we have a production lead time of 4 weeks (after final approval and payment).

Are your scarves ethically produced?

Absolutely. Our scarves are ethically produced in Italy. We are committed to maintaining high standards for both worker welfare and environmental sustainability.

What are your shipping times and costs?

For “Print Your Own” and “Personalize an Existing Design” orders, we have a production lead time of 4 weeks (after final approval and payment), and shipping of 1-5 days depending on location. For ready-to-wear scarves from our collection, delivery within the USA takes 2-5 days and internationally 3-10 days. Shipping costs are provided at checkout and reflect actual shipping costs.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide via premium shippers such as DHL.

How can I track my order?

After your order has been shipped, we will send you a tracking number via email.

Is it possible to gift a By Biehle scarf?

Absolutely! Our scarves make exceptional gifts. Each one comes delivered in our premium gift packaging. To gift a scarf, simply enter the recipient’s address when completing your order. If you wish to include a special message, please leave it in the comments section at checkout or contact us directly.

How will my scarves be delivered?

Your scarves will arrive fully assembled and ready for use or gifting, except for the ribbons which are not tied to avoid wrinkles. They are shipped in a single package directly from our factory in Italy to your address.

Can you ship to individual addresses for me?

At present, we are unable to ship individual scarves to different addresses within the same order. All items in a single order will be shipped to one location. However, we are considering offering this service in the future. If you’re interested in this, please reach out to us directly – your feedback could help us launch this service.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.

Can I change or cancel my order once it’s been placed?

After your design is checked by our experts and approved by you, you have a 24-hour window to request any changes or cancel the order. Please contact us immediately with any desired changes. Once the printing process begins, we cannot make modifications.

With Design Your Own, you can upload your original design for a completely unique scarf. Personalize An Existing Design allows you to select one of our existing designs and add your personal touch by modifying the text.

Can I choose another format or size for my scarf?

Yes, you can. Just head over to ‘Contact Us’ and let us know which format you would like to print on. Also let us know what material you want to use. We will then prepare a quote for you.

Can I use my own personal design?

Yes, you can use your own design. Just upload your design in the form of a high resolution PDF file or PSD file. To do this, go to ‘Design Your Own’ and follow the instructions there.

What are the lead times?

Quality takes time, but we continuously optimize our systems to offer you the shortest lead times possible when it comes to printing scarves and shipping.

  • Shipping of VOW for Girls scarf: 3-5 business days (within the US), 5-7 business days (outside the US)
  • Production of sample (optional): 3-4 weeks
  • Production of regular order: 5-6 weeks

 

Which information goes on the scarf?

Most often couples include their first names, wedding location, wedding date, RSVP date, and dress code on the scarf. You are however free to add any text you find most important. We recommend to keep it short for a better design outcome. To share additional information with your guests you could add and customize one of our stationery cards.

How will my invitations be delivered?

We deliver the scarf invitations and any chosen add-ons in a single package to a single address. The scarves will be carefully folded in a protective sleeve and placed inside the selected gift packaging. If you have selected the Gift Box, we will add the selected colored pre-cut ribbons loose with the package, but not tie them around each box. This way you can inspect your invitations or add items if required.

Can I see a sample before ordering?

Yes, you can. We offer custom samples with your design printed on your choice of scarf size and fabric. Simply select ‘Sample order’ on the product page, and add to shopping bag. We charge a flat fee of $240 for samples of any size and material. The lead time for sample production and shipping is 3-4 weeks depending on the shipping address.
